Sun Deli is one of the best delis in Jacksonville beach ! The food is delicious and the prices are good ! I had the Ruben and it was so good and had plenty of corned beef on it ! I can't wait to go back !
We live in Atlanta, but Sun Deli is a must-stop for our family every time we are in Jacksonville. I got a new Sun Deli t-shirt for Christmas, if that tells you anything...and the staff knows our names. They have a great selection of sandwiches, soups and various daily specials. I ONLY get the MCD Rob, warmed up. But I would recommend anything...especially the items on the "not on the menu menu." Friends tell the chicken pot pie is incredible...but is only offered as a special from time to time. The inside is a a basic sandwich shop...wooden tables and chairs with beach-style art of the walls. (For sale, I think.) I was there on Saturday and ordered around 11:45am. No line. By 12:15pm, the line was out the door. But, be patient...the line moves quickly and the food is incredible!
it's hard to make a memorable vegetarian sub but sun deli's done it - by far my favorite veggie sub option in jax. the service is quick and the food is great!
As a self-proclaimed soup girl, Sun Deli is basically my dream come true! They had five soups of the day when I visited on a Saturday, and I went with the creamy cauliflower--it did not disappoint. The egg salad was simple, classic, and satisfying, and my partner's MCD Rob was absolutely phenomenal. This is the kind of classic deli that nails both the food and the service. Can't wait to come back and try more soups (and sandwiches)!
We love the food here. Hart Attack / Philly are the go-to's. I feel like the salads are a bit less impressive, but it is a sandwich place anyway. Anthony makes the experience extra special every time. This is the kind of place where you order, seat yourself and then they bring it to you (not waitress service), yet people have been leaving kids tables an absolute disaster with no regard for the staff, so I hope the decency among patrons improves.
Old school sandwich shop in Jax beach. I love the triple decker. I don't go here often but anytime I think of a sandwich spot at the beach, sun deli is at the top of my list.
Sun Deli is the best ever! From specialty subs, soup and salads to their awesome spaghetti. They even cater sub platters for parties. It has definitely saved me a time or two.
What a great little spot! I went in early around 915 before hitting the beach, super fast service (wasn't busy at all) and everyone was super friendly. They use boars head meat which I love. Whatever soup they had going smelled delicious too. I got the Beach girl (turkey salami and provalone) cold, and it was amazing. very reasonable prices too! Definitely will be back any time I hit the beach!
The 9.0. Thats all you need to know if you want the greatest Philly ever made. Just walk in and order the 9.0 walk out happy. 10/10
